This hands-on training is designed for anyone responsible for the care and safety of children, including childcare providers, teachers, coaches, camp staff, and parents.
This course is ideal for:
Childcare Providers
Preschool and Daycare Staff
Teachers and School Personnel

Coaches and Youth Program Leaders
Foster and Adoptive Parents
Babysitters and Nannies
Parents, Grandparents, and Caregivers
Upon successful completion, participants will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED eCard, valid for 2 years.
Participants will learn how to:
Recognize and respond to medical emergencies involving infants and children
Perform high-quality CPR on infants and children
Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively
Provide relief for choking in infants and children
Identify and respond to common pediatric injuries and illnesses
Control bleeding and care for wounds
Respond to allergic reactions, seizures, asthma emergencies, burns, and other first aid situations
Activate the emergency response system and provide care until EMS arrives
